The Zip-line at Celjska Koča spans an impressive total length of 829 meters. It is divided into two sections: the first ride begins at the tower next to Hotel Celjska Koča and continues down to the slope of Grmada, covering a distance of 426 meters. The return line takes you from the slope of Grmada back to the embankment below the hotel, with a length of 403 meters. The Zip-line is carefully designed and extends beyond the boundaries of the Natura 2000 protected area.

Terms and Conditions

The Zip-line at Celjska Koča is built according to the European standard SIST EN 15567-1:2015 and is suitable for participants aged 12 and above who do not have psychological or physical limitations related to height, which could pose a health or safety risk to themselves or others.

Participation requirements:

  • Minimum age: 12 years

  • Minimum height: 150 cm

  • Minimum weight (with gear): 45 kg

  • Maximum weight (with gear): 130 kg

Participants under the age of 15 may only ride if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Before the ride, each participant must review and accept the safety rules and limitations by signing a consent form. For minors, the form must be reviewed and signed by a parent or legal guardian on their behalf.

 

Use of the Zipline is not permitted for:

  • Individuals who do not meet the criteria listed above

  • Individuals under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances that impair psychophysical abilities

  • Individuals with spinal injuries

  • Individuals with high blood pressure or cardiovascular diseases

  • Pregnant women

  • Individuals with epilepsy

  • Individuals who have undergone surgery in the last 6 months

  • Persons with mobility impairments – they must be advised of the potential for pain, and participation is at their own risk

Rules of Use

Rules for using the Zipline Celjska Koča:

Before using the Zipline Celjska Koča, each participant must read and understand these rules. By signing the waiver prior to participation, the individual confirms that they are informed about the rules and agree to them. For participants under the age of 15, a responsible adult must read and explain the rules to them and confirm this by signing the form (including the full names of the adult and participants, as well as contact information). By signing, the participant acknowledges that they are using the Zipline Celjska Koča at their own risk.

  1. Use of the Zipline Celjska Koča involves risks and is undertaken at the participant’s own responsibility. For operator liability, see point 8.

  2. The Zipline is suitable for participants aged 12 and above who do not have psychophysical conditions related to height that could pose a risk to themselves or others. Children under 15 years may only use the Zipline when accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

  3. Small items such as jewelry, mobile phones, cameras, etc., are not allowed during the ride, as they pose a risk to the user and others.

  4. Participants with long hair must tie it back with an elastic band.

  5. Each participant must attend a safety briefing, which includes both theoretical and practical instruction. All instructions given by the trainer/instructor or organizer are mandatory and must be followed. Failure to comply may result in removal from the Zipline. The operator is not liable for any claims resulting from disregard of safety instructions.

  6. The Zipline may only be used with personal safety equipment provided by the operator, which includes a helmet, harness, certified pulley, and connectors. Use of any other non-approved equipment is strictly prohibited. All equipment must be used according to the manufacturer’s or operator’s guidelines and must not be removed or shared during use.

  7. Participants are financially responsible for damage to equipment caused by improper or careless use.

  8. The operator of the Zipline Celjska Koča is liable for personal injury in accordance with legal provisions. Liability for material or property damage applies only in cases of gross negligence by the organizer or staff.

  9. Management reserves the right to remove individuals who do not comply with these rules from the Zipline area.

  10. Management also reserves the right to suspend activities for safety or technical reasons (e.g., fire, storm, lightning, freezing rain, etc.).

  11. Refunds will not be issued if a participant voluntarily chooses to leave the Zipline area.

  12. Use of the Zipline under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances that impair psychophysical performance is strictly prohibited.

  13. Smoking while using the Zipline or while wearing safety gear is not allowed.

  14. Use of the Zipline outside of official operating hours is strictly prohibited and life-threatening.

  15. By signing these rules, participants agree to the use of their personal data for the operational needs of the Zipline Celjska Koča.

  16. Use of images and/or video for professional promotional purposes is only allowed with prior consent from the operator. Unauthorized use is strictly forbidden.
