Trees
The serpentine forest trails with mighty chestnut, lime, oak, hornbeam and larch trees descends between young birch tree groves and across the picturesque Štalek gorge, then ascends through the spruce tree forest towards the ridge. Just below the ridge are magnificent ancient Douglas fir trees.
The trail follows the ridge offering a splendid view of the Celje Basin, then turns towards Laško past the natural beech tree forest, past the hunting lodge through the spruce tree forest with the soft needle-covered ground and back in the direction of Celjska koča.
